Donald Trump has ripped a microphone off its stand and bashed it in anger — as he fired up in one of his final rallies before the big vote.

The latest national polls which have been averaged by Real Clear Politics shows Donald Trump maintains the lead. He’s in front by a narrow 0.5 points, at 48.5 to Ms Harris on 48.0.

America’s Electoral College system means the next president will be decided by voters in seven battleground states: Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Nevada, Georgia and North Carolina.
