Lyle Menendez has been caught cheating on his second wife while serving a life sentence alongside his brother Erik for the murder of their parents.

Lyle Menendez has been caught cheating on his second wife with a British student while serving a life sentence alongside his brother Erik for the shooting murder of their parents.

Despite being jailed for decades, Lyle, 56, and Erik, 53, have been married for most of their time inside.

But years after another affair broke off Lyle’s first marriage, the jailbird Lothario has reportedly been caught cheating on second wife Rebecca Sneed with Milly Bucksey, 21, who has travelled from the UK to visit the older Menendez brother in prison.

Prison guards discovered Menendez was using a contraband mobile phone to communicate with Bucksey from his cell at the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego, California, according to the Daily Mail.

The convicted murderer is said to have started the new relationship earlier this year after first noticing Bucksey in a Facebook group run by his wife Rebecca in support of the brothers being released from jail.

Lyle reportedly told his girlfriend he wants to divorce Sneed, 55, to be with her.

Bucksey, who lives in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, but has travelled thousands of kilometres to visit Lyle in San Diego more than once.

“Lyle adores Milly,” a source told the Daily Mail.

“And she refers to him as her boyfriend even though he’s married.”

Pictures obtained by the outlet show Bucksey smiling as Lyle wraps his arms around her in front of one of the prison yard’s murals.

Another picture shows the couple posing with a dog, while a third shows Bucksey sitting on Lyle’s lap and smiling.

After Menendez was caught using the phone the incident was recorded in a re-sentencing memo by incumbent Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón at the end of October.

Gascón recommended last month that Lyle and Erik be re-sentenced for the shotgun murders of parents Kitty and Jose in 1989, saying the brothers had “paid their debt to society.”

The decision came after interest in the case was renewed due to Ryan Murphy’s Netflix drama Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.

While prosecutors in the highly publicised murder trial believed the brothers killed their parents out of greed for the family’s fortune, the siblings alleged they shot their parents in self-defence following years of sexual abuse by their dad.

Erik and Lyle Menendez maintain they suffered physical and sexual abuse by their father Jose.

Over a dozen members of Erik and Lyle’s family showed their support for the pair’s release by speaking out in their defence at a press conference last month.

Erik married his wife, Tammi Saccoman, and became a father figure to her daughter, Talia, from prison in June 1999.

LYLE’S FIRST AFFAIR

Meanwhile, Lyle has been married twice – and his relationship with the British student isn’t the first time he’s been caught cheating.

He began dating model Anna Eriksson when she wrote him a sympathy letter when the brothers’ first murder trial ended in a mistrial.

The pair married over the phone on July 2, 1996, and were together for five years until Eriksson filed for divorce in 2001 on the grounds her husband was unfaithful to her by exchanging letters with other women.

Menendez then started a relationship with Sneed, a former magazine editor, and they wed in November 2003.

In 2017, Lyle told People that the couple spoke on the phone daily and had a strong relationship.

“She’s endured a lot, but she has the courage to handle the obstacles,” he said.

“It would be easier for her to walk away, but I’m profoundly grateful she hasn’t.”

Sneed hasn’t commented on the reports of Lyle’s affair.

Earlier this month, Gascón lost his re-election bid to former federal prosecutor Nathan Hochman, who is set to review the case to make his own decision on the brothers’ possible clemency.

Erik and Lyle are set to go before a judge in a scheduled hearing about their potential re-sentencing on December 11.
