Why Elon Musk’s ‘baby mama’ chose to go public about their secret love child
A former acquaintance of Ashley St. Clair, the right-wing influencer who claims to have a secret child with Elon Musk, has shed more light on the scandal.

The conservative US influencer who claims to have given birth to Elon Musk’s 13th child went public about their child because he “ghosted” her on Valentine’s Day, an acquaintance claims.
Ashley St. Clair, 26, publicly posted on X to the tech billionaire last week saying she had been “trying to communicate for the past several days and you have not responded”.
While ghosting Ms St. Clair, Musk was instead photographed with the mother to three of his children, Shivon Zilis, who he brought with their offspring to a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
And while the influencer, who hasn’t revealed her son’s name, claimed she had been forced to reveal her secret due to “tabloid media” probing her personal life, an acquaintance now says the real reason for coming forward was a disagreement with the billionaire.
“Seems like she wasn’t getting what she wanted, was emotional & hurt on Valentine’s Day & decided to parade her crazy on the front porch thinking people would be sympathetic to her as a “victim” of a powerful, wealthy man,” Trump activist Kylie Kremer posted on X.
Ms Kremer, director of MAGA group Women for America First, pointed out that after complaining about intrusive media, Ms St. Clair went on to do an interview with The New York Post complete with a photo shoot.
“Ashley literally paraded her crazy on the front porch & invited the media to capture it.”
“Mum was just throwing a temper tantrum because she was trying to [e]licit a reaction from dad.”
“I know her in real life,’ Kremer wrote, adding that the pregnancy was an ‘open secret’.
“I’ve known for awhile too. It appears she was upset about this photo on Valentine’s Day. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned …”
Ms St. Clair earlier claimed Mr Musk provided her with a lavish Manhattan apartment where she was forced to spend her pregnancy alone.
She said the Tesla founder wanted to keep their baby a secret for everyone’s safety.
“I was told to keep it secret. I was being asked to keep it a secret forever,” she told The New York Post.
“I was completely isolated during my pregnancy. Every part of my career and everything I used to do I couldn’t do anymore. I was told not to tell anybody,” she claimed.
It came as Mr Musk’s estranged transgender daughter said she learned that she might have another sibling through social media after Ms St. Clair’s bombshell revelation.
Vivian Jenna Wilson, 21, one of six children Mr Musk shares with his first wife Justine Wilson, took to TikTok to share that it wasn’t the first time she learned she had a half-sibling on the internet.
“Wow, if I had a nickel for every time I found out I had half-siblings through Reddit, I’d have two nickels … which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it’s happened twice, right,” Wilson wrote on the post.

The remarks came after Mr Musk responded to the bombshell baby claim with a one word comment after a war of words erupted.
“Whoa,” Mr Musk wrote on X, in response to a post that claimed, “Ashley St. Clair plotted for HALF A DECADE to ensnare Elon Musk.”
Ms St. Clair then lashed out at the tech tycoon minutes later in a comment that has since been deleted: “Elon, we have been trying to communicate for the past several days and you have not responded. When are you going to reply to us instead of publicly responding to smears from an individual who just posted photos of me in underwear at 15 years old?”.

Ms St. Clair made the baby allegation in a post on X that she and Mr Musk share a five-month-old child.
“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,” she stated.
“I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause,” Ms St. Clair wrote on Valentine’s Day.
“I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honour our child’s privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting.”
It was captioned “Alea lacta est,” which is Latin for “the die is cast.”

Ms St. Clair, who has one million followers on X, thanked her supporters after she posted the news online.
“In all sincerity, appreciate the kind words. Wish I did not feel the need to make a statement. Kids should be off limits for journalists,” she wrote.
“Will be spending time with my family & logging off for a while.”
The Tesla and SpaceX founder shares five children with first wife Justine Wilson — who gave birth to their twins Vivian and Griffin, 20, in 2002.
Then they had triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian, 18. Their son Nevada Alexander sadly died when he was just 10 weeks old.
Pop star Grimes and Mr Musk also share three children. In 2020, they welcomed their first child, X Æ A-12, now age 4, who has been photographed with Mr Musk at the White House.
They also have a daughter called Exa Dark Siderael, 3, and young boy Techno Mechanicus.
Mr Musk and Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis also have twins, Strider and Azure, now age 3.
Ms St. Clair is an outspoken supporter of conservative ideologies and mixes in MAGA social circles.
She recently posted a photo of herself on President Donald Trump’s inauguration day alongside Lynne Patton, his Deputy Assistant and Director of Minority Outreach at the White House.
In December last year she posted a photo of herself alongside Kash Patel, who is Mr Trump’s top pick to lead the FBI.
She has also written a children’s book with BRAVE Books, titled Elephants Are Not Birds, which tells the story of an elephant named Kevin who likes to sing. He is convinced by a vulture — named Culture — that he warbles so well, he must actually be a bird.
Culture gives Kevin a pair of wings and a beak to wear, though his attempts to live life as a bird are less than successful in the ensuing pages.
Ms St. Clair told the New York Post in 2021 the book is an unapologetic rebuke of transgender acceptance.
“You get special attention now in the classroom if you say, ‘Hey my name is not Billy, it’s Amanda,’” Ms St. Clair, 22, told The New York Post.
“I am going to have a little boy in November, and it’s scary to think he could come home and say, ‘My friends all identify as something else and that’s how I feel’ and have my son crying because he’s not put on hormone replacement therapy.”
She and Mr Musk follow each other on X and have exchanged messages, including birthday wishes, and lists of books to read.
The influencer, who has appeared on Fox News, was also sent well wishes from fellow conservative figures including Jack Posobiec, his wife Tanya Tay, Mike Cernovich and Candace Owens.
Mr Musk has not responded to Ms St. Clair’s claim so far, and this masthead has contacted Musk’s lawyer for comment.
