Kate Moss attends Johnny Depp’s concert cameo performance in London

Supermodel Kate Moss has been spotted at a concert where her former flame Johnny Depp was performing, days after she testified for him in court against Amber Heard.

British supermodel Kate Moss has sensationally attended her former flame Johnny Depp’s rock concert in London, as he awaits a verdict in his US$50 million ($A72m) defamation suit against his ex-wife Amber Heard.

Depp appeared on stage for his third gig alongside legendary guitarist Jeff Beck performing covers of John Lennon, Marvin Gaye and Jimi Hendrix at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday night.

Moss, 48, last week gave evidence in Depp’s defamation trial against another of his exes, Heard, rejecting claims she had ever been assaulted by the Pirates of the Caribbean actor during their high-profile four-year relationship in the 1990s.

The fashion icon arrived at the venue early at around 8pm, 90 minutes before Depp was due onstage, clambering out of a blue Mercedes and being escorted by security into the stage door entrance, according to reports.

According to a source cited by Fox News, Depp, 58, invited Moss to the show as his guest. Photos later posted online showed the American actor rocking out on stage, one day after he received a standing ovatian at the same venue.

It comes as jurors in the US entered their third day of deliberations in the high profile defamation case on Wednesday.

The sighting of the former flames at the venue sent Depp fans into overdrive on social media.

One excited person wrote: “Omg apparently Johnny Depp & Kate Moss partied together after he performed with Jeff Beck. I’m so happy.”

Another tweeted: “Kate Moss was seen at Johnny Depp’s gig in London, imagine if they got back together”.

A third dramatically exclaimed: “KAAAAAAATTTTEEEEEEEEEEEEE IM SOBBING CRYING THROWING UP AAAAAHHHHH.”

Another said: “It be nice if Kate Moss and Johnny Depp get back together.”

Twitter user Karen Hancock added: “Could this be why he came to London? The best thing she ever done was to mention Kate Moss in the trial, it brought her back into his life.”

Depp jetted off to England over the weekend after the trial in Fairfax County Circuit Court in Virginia was given to the jury on Friday.

Moss last week testified at Depp’s defamation trial against Heard about an incident where he allegedly pushed her down a flight of stairs during their tumultuous relationship.

Moss, who dated Depp from 1994-1998, appeared via video link from Gloucestershire, England, in the Fairfax County Court in Virginia, US.

Her brief testimony focused solely on allegations made by Heard that she’d heard a rumour her ex-husband, Depp, assaulted Moss when they were on a trip at the GoldenEye resort in Jamaica.

Moss said Depp then “came running back to help” her and carried her back to the room and seeking “medical attention”.

It came after Heard previously testified that her sister was near a staircase “in the line of fire … trying to get Johnny to stop” a physical assault which reminded her of a rumoured incident between Moss and Depp.

“(Whitney’s) back was to the staircase, and Johnny swings at her,” Heard told the court.

“I don’t hesitate, I don’t wait — I just, in my head, instantly think of Kate Moss and stairs.”

That reference – which Heard also brought up in Depp’s UK defamation trial in 2020 – provided an opening to Depp’s lawyers to call Moss as a witness to address the allegation.

Heard’s team declined to cross examine Moss whose testimony ultimately lasted just four minutes.

Later in the day, Depp’s team called him back to the stand as one of several rebuttal witnesses.

“Exactly what happened is what she said happened.” Depp told the court in response to Moss’ testimony.”

Depp testified that he had told Heard about Moss slipping on the stairs but claimed she later twisted the story to use it against him in court.

“I recall speaking with Ms Heard about that very incident because of the downpouring of rain … it was raining very heavily,” he said.

“I left the bungalow (then) suddenly rain was coming down like a monsoon.

“I remember looking and seeing Kate coming out the door (then she) slipped and landed directly on her coccyx on her back.

“And she was obviously physically in pain. She was hurt, she was crying. So I went over to make sure she was all right. That’s it.”

Depp said Heard “took the story and turned it into a very ugly incident”.

“There was never a moment where I pushed Kate down any set of stairs,” he added.

“I’d never heard a rumour of that before Ms Heard grabbed hold of it.”
