Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness have listed their New York City penthouse for $US38.9 million ($59.6 million) just days after agreeing to split the money from the property, amid their ongoing divorce.
According to Realtor.com, Jackman, 56, and Furness, 69, originally snapped up the Perry Street dwelling in 2008 for a cool $21 million but in recent years have rented out the opulent Manhattan unit. It was last on the market for $US125,000 (($A191,000) a month.
The penthouse spans the eighth, ninth and tenth floors of a glass tower overlooking the Hudson River, with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms in its more than 1000 sq m floor space. It also includes a library, private sauna and indoor gym. The three floors are connected via an spiral staircase.
The former couple, who first met on set of Australian TV prison drama Correlli back in 1995, announced in September 2023 their marriage was over, with Furness officially filing for divorce in May 2025.
Now the penthouse designed by acclaimed architect Richard Meier, which failed to sell when listed in 2022, is back on the market.
It is unclear how Jackman and Furness plan to split the money from the sale of this apartment, which was not mentioned in the court filing that confirmed their decision to split their other New York abode. The listed apartment is still registered to an LLC through which the couple bought both units. The Chelsea property has since been transferred to a different shell company with ties to Furness, according to The Real Deal.
