Aussie DJ and Only Fans star in ‘Bali brain damage fall’

Melbourne DJ Courtney Mills has been ‘hospitalised with bleeding to the brain’ after a ‘terrible’ fall in Bali that friends say has her fighting for her life.

An Australian DJ and Only Fans model has been hospitalised in Bali with bleeding to the right side of her brain after suffering a ‘terrible’ head injury.

Courtney Mills, from Melbourne, was living in Bali when she suffered a concussion from falling down stairs, wrote her friend Lauren Fankhauser on a fundraiser page.

“If you’re familiar with the Australian music scene, you may know my friend as a talented DJ Courtney Mills who has brought joy and happiness to countless people,” Ms Fankhauser wrote.

“Any donations you can spare will go towards covering their medical expenses and potentially saving their life.”

Ms Fankhauser added that her friend doesn’t have insurance and costs have already exceeded $3000. In the three days since the GoFundMe was launched, it has raised $641 of its $5,000 goal.

Ms Fankhauser and Ms Mills have been contacted for comment by News Corp Australia, which has not independently verified the details contained within the GoFundMe fundraising page.

Well wishers took to Ms Mills’ Instagram to send messages of support.

“Speedy recovery,” wrote Steve Micakovski.

Chelssea Beaver suggested Ms Mills put a sale on her OnlyFans page.

“Only way you’re going to get any money from people for your head injury and maybe the sales will pay for you to get insurance in the future,” Beaver wrote.

It is the second time Ms Mills has been involved in a drive to raise donations to cover medical expenses after being involved in an accident in Bali.

In a 2018 GoFundMe fundraiser, friends said Ms Mills was involved in a motorbike accident with friend Matt Davis. While Ms Mills was released from the hospital within days, Mr Mills had to undergo surgery for his injuries to release the air trapped in his skull, according to the fundraiser.

“As many of you would know, biking accidents in Bali are not covered by travel insurance … and the costs incurred by Matt to date are huge,” the page stated.

“We are asking for donations to help cover the cost to get Matt better. Matt was hesitant to agree to a GoFundMe page being the guy that he is. But we’re convinced him how much everyone will want to help when they know what he’s going through.”

After the page was publicised in global media in 2018, the fundraiser organised by friends Brodie Williams and Matthew Davis raised $35,810, according to GoFundMe.
