Where are they now?

The Stenmark twins

They were the largest twin male models in the world in the 2000s, now the Stenmarks have taken a step back from the catwalk and are largely involved in the health and wellness sector.

Alexandra Spencer

From Sydney party scene to global influencer/photographer with 4th and Bleeker. Now heads up one of the world’s most popular fashion brands, Realisation Par.

Dion Lee

Became one of Australia’s biggest fashion exports after emerging from this era. Brand recently went into administration. Now he is back, recently launching his new label, Haelo, his first foray back into fashion in nearly two years.

Jess Hart

Model, now mum, Jess Hart was one of the most iconic faces of the 2000s.

After winning Dolly Magazine’s Model Search in 2000, Hart was the face of almost every major advertising campaign, before she swapped Sydney for the US, where she is currently based with her two children, Baby and Glorious.

She has recently revealed she plans to return home and raise her children in Australia, after spending more than two decades living abroad.

Amber L’Estrange

From Party Girl to Wellness Powerhouse. Amber L’Estrange was once one of Sydney’s most photographed cool-girls. Fast-forward to today, and L’Estrange has traded tequila shots for transcendence. Based in Los Angeles, she reinvented herself as a wellness mentor, podcaster and embodiment coach.

Former Myer model Hawkins went from life in the spotlight to laying low on the northern beaches with her young family.

Nicole Trunfio

If there was a runway back in the 2000s, Nicole Trunfio was on it. These days she has swapped Sydney for a 50-acre horse ranch near Austin, Texas, where she lives with her husband and their three children since 2017. She is also the woman behind maternity wear brand Bumpsuit.

Mikey Nolan

Nolan spent most of his younger career at local cult label Ksubi and years throwing parties like Sydney’s legendary Bang Gang. Since, he has founded hugely successful fashion label Double Rainbouu.

Model of the moment in the 2000s and beyond, Lucinda Taffs has retired from modelling to focus on being creative director and designer for popular brand, Auteur.

MTV host and model Kate Peck was everywhere and anywhere in the 2000. She has since made a name for herself as a motorsport enthusiast.

Justin Hemmes

The man behind Merivale, whose early-2000s expansion defined Sydney’s bar and club culture, hasn’t changed a bit. He is still the man behind some of Australia’s hottest venues.
