‘Oh my God’: Woman with axe seen charging at bus in terrifying Perth attack
A woman has been filmed charging at a bus with an axe following an altercation in Perth.

Terrifying footage has captured the moment a woman charged at a bus with an axe in Perth as worried passengers shouted and watched on.
Police were called to Coode Street in Bayswater, 8km from Perth’s CBD, following reports of an altercation about 12.50pm on Thursday.
It’s understood the woman had boarded a Transperth bus, route 998, at Morley train station on where she began “bickering” with another female she appeared to know, 9News reports.
The altercation reportedly turned violent before another passenger asked the woman to step off the bus.
Instead, she allegedly pulled out an axe from her pocket and began threatening passengers.
The woman has been reported to be a male by other media outlets however WA Police confirmed to news.com.au the person involved is female.
Those on board managed to push the woman off the bus. But she was later filmed charging back towards the vehicle with the axe.
In the footage, shared by 9News, a passenger can be heard yelling “Oh my God” as she runs towards the bus.
“Stop!” another yells.
One witness told the outlet they felt “very scared” as the situation unfolded.
Police said the woman allegedly struck the stationary vehicle before fleeing the scene on foot with the other female.
Both had been removed from the bus due to disorderly behaviour, police said.
Officers have launched an investigation into the incident however no arrests are yet to be made.
