Couple heard arguing before man’s death on Perth roadside

A woman has been charged with manslaughter following a heated argument with a man who was found unresponsive on the side of a road.

A woman has been charged with manslaughter after a man known to her was found unresponsive on the side of a road.

Emergency services rushed to an incident in Jindalee in Perth’s north where a man in his 30s was found unconscious near a silver Mitsubishi Outlander about 5.40pm on Saturday.

The man could not be revived and died at the scene.

A witness told 9News that he heard people screaming and swearing at each other for several minutes before the man died.

“I was watching them, I was watching him dying, it was just distressing,” a witness said.

A 32-year old woman was taken into custody and has been charged with manslaughter.

She is due to face the Joondalup Magistrates Court on Monday.

Police have asked anyone who was in the vicinity of Marmion Ave in Jindalee between 5.15pm and 6.16pm and saw the incident, or who has footage, to contact Crime Stoppers.
