Wild weather takes it toll around Victoria

As Victoria continues to battle through the wild weather conditions it faced on Thursday, new photographs reveal the big challenges the CFA crews encountered.

An emergency warning has been issued for an out-of-control grassfire at Strathallan, near Rochester, in the Goulburn Valley region.

Across the state there have been 2000 firefighters, 300 trucks and 33 aircraft working on the bushfires.
