AFL stars and underworld figures among Hall-Gallen boxing crowd

It was a clash of the codes at Margaret Court Arena last night, as AFL great Barry Hall and NRL champion Paul Gallen met in a hotly anticipated boxing match, as many high-profile figures watched on.

Underworld figure Mick Gatto was spotted in the crowd, alongside convicted drug trafficker John Kizon and ex-Bandidos strongman Toby Mitchell.

Mick Gatto’s son-in-law Danny Awad was jailed for 10 years on November 11 over a $12 mil cocaine haul hidden in printers.

In April this year Toby Mitchell joined the feared Mongols bikie club after leaving the rival Bandidos bikie club is 2013.

Controversial former Geelong AFL legend Sam Newman was also in attendance.
