A TODDLER has died after accidentally getting strangled by a window blind cord at a house in Geelong.
It is believed a member of the family discovered the body of the two-year-old hanging from the cord in a bedroom of the Newtown property just after 5pm.
Rural Ambulance spokeswoman Gabrielle Degenhardt said paramedics arrived at the scene at 5.10pm but could do little to save the child.
"Officers started CPR but it was not successful,'' Ms Degenhardt said.
A police spokeswoman said the incident was being investigated but was not suspicious.
