Truck rollover closes lane of Bruce Highway

A truck travelling along the Bruce Highway has rolled south of Townsville, forcing police to close a lane as the situation is addressed.

Emergency crews are responding to a truck rollover along the Bruce Highway following an early morning incident south of Townsville.

District Duty Officer Senior Sergeant Scott Warrick said initial reports from crews who arrived on the scene about 5am indicated there were no injuries.

“A truck has rolled a kilometre past Bojack Road off the Bruce Highway. Right now, the Bruce Highway there is down to one lane with traffic control being set up.”
