Fadi Ibrahim: Yeah mate

Ben Scott: How you feeling?

FI: Like shit mate

BS: You sound it, what’s happened to you?

FI: I had to get off my medication

BS: Yeah, but why did you have to go to hospital?

FI: Because I was on really strong medication and I’ve been on it for a long time and it’s very addictive stuff …

BS: Oh so they did a uh ---

FI: Detox, sort of

BS: Yeah a, a blood ---

FI: They put me on this other f**king shit to get (me off this stuff) man. F**k it’s killed my life, man

FI: Now all the pain … from the shooting … I can feel it man … But because I’ve been taking these tablets for so long, it has been numbing the pain, like dulling it. I didn’t feel it. But now I’m not on anything all the f**king pain is coming out

FADI IBRAHIM AND BAHIA NASSER

Fadi Ibrahim: I still take two to three tablets a day, before I was taking like f**king 10 to 15

Bahia Nasser: 10?

FI: Yeah, so I reduced it heaps, but I want to just be off it, I’m sick of it man, I’m sick of needing it

BN: It’s hard

FI: I’m sick of getting up and I can’t be normal unless I take it

BN: But your situation’s hard. You whole insides are not in your body

FI: Yeah I know man, I don’t know what I’m going to do

FADI IBRAHIM AND BEN SCOTT

BS: Hey mate, how you going?

FI: Go f**k yourself, like you give a f**k

BS: Mate, I called you all last week, your phone was off

FI: You couldn’t come ‘round and check up on me?

BS: I’m scared of your wife

FI: Oh f**k off, so my safety is less important than you f**king being scared of my wife?

BS: I know you’re safe

FI: How do you know?

BS: I checked with your brother

FI: My phone could have been off and I could have been in hospital, c**t

BS: No, ‘cause he said he spoke to you. I said I’d been trying to call you but your phone’s off, he goes, “Nah I spoke to him,” said he’d been around to your place. I spoke to John, he rang me about something after the show aired and I said, “Is Fadi OK?” and he said, “Yeah Mick’s over at his house now mate”.
