Staff left to clean up after thieves break into Townsville Basketball Stadium

The Townsville Basketball Stadium was forced to temporarily close its doors as staff cleaned up the damage left by thieves who broke into the facility on Sunday.

The Townsville Basketball Stadium was forced to temporarily close its doors as staff cleaned up the damage left by thieves who broke into the facility on Sunday.

Police are investigating reports of a break and enter at a sporting facility on Murray Lyons Crescent, Annandale about 3.40am on Sunday.

The stadium was temporarily close for the day as staff cleaned up the mess of broken glass and damaged left behind after thieves broke into the admin office.

Police investigations are continuing.
