The timing of Banks’ birth echoed a similar moment in the Cotter family history: their firstborn daughter Sunny was born on June 11, 2022, just three days after Reuben made his State of Origin debut.

Reuben Cotter’s week has been a whirlwind of events, balancing his demanding sports career with the joys of expanding his family.

Cotter has also been named in the Cowboys side set to play the Warriors at Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville this Saturday.
