A North Queensland clinical nurse is bringing a trendy health treatment to Townsville that offers mobile IV drips to customers. Read why the founder says it will enhance overall health.

A new holistic health treatment has arrived in Townsville where customers can order tailored IV vitamin drips to their door.

LiquidLuxe IV was founded by Ingham-born Ashley De Campo, who chose to follow in her grandmother’s footsteps and begin a career as a nurse.

“My career path was highly influenced by my grandmother’s stories from her nursing days. I idolised her and always wanted to make others smile and feel safe, just as she did,” she said.

Her recent business venture offers tailored intravenous vitamin therapy and hydration, intramuscular injections and micronutrient blood tests delivered by registered health practitioners.

The James Cook University graduate said that she took an interest in IV vitamin treatments after experiencing the benefits of a holistic health approach first-hand.

Ashley De Campo is the founder of a new Townsville business, Liquid Luxe IV that offers tailor made IV vitamin drips to customers.

“Eager to learn more about IV vitamin therapy, I travelled to Sydney in June to learn from some of the best in the business, and was overwhelmed by how powerful these services could be in enhancing overall health, boosting energy levels, supporting recovery, and more,” Ms De Campo said.

IV therapy is a medical procedure that injects liquid substances directly into the vein most commonly used to deliver medication, replace fluids and correct electrolyte imbalances.

“My goal when creating Liquidluxe IV was to provide high-quality, personalised IV vitamin treatments, where individuals can receive tailored wellness solutions, while feeling supported and empowered.”

“Drips from our set menu start at $275. There is a $50 script fee for all new clients, this provides clients with full access to all our vitamins and is valid for 12 months.”

The clinical nurse said she was excited to bring the treatment to the regions where access to health services can be limited.

“I love that working in a rural setting offers greater autonomy, diverse clinical experience, and allows us as nurses to make a significant impact on the community, providing essential care in under-served areas,” Ms De Campo said.
