A STREET-LEVEL dealer busted with drug paraphernalia in a police raid admitted he had sold methamphetamine.
Matthew John Hill, 28, came to the attention of police for drug offending in 2019.
The Townsville District Court heard police executed a search warrant at Hill’s address on November 13, 2019.
Crown prosecutor Molly Mahlouzarides said police found a mobile phone.

“He was found in possession of almost 2g of meth, $195, cutting agent, scales and clip-seal bags,” she said.
“He told police he used those items to portion out drugs into saleable quantities and to make it go further.”
Ms Mahlouzarides said Hill admitted selling a gram of methamphetamine.
Hill pleaded guilty to a range of charges including drug supply.
The court heard Hill was on bail for previous crimes at the time of the police search.
Judge John Coker told Hill it was “clear” he was in “his own grip of addiction” at the time of the offences.
Hill was sentenced to 18 months’ jail.
A parole release date was set for March 12 this year.
