Man in 30s transported to hospital after bar disturbance at The Watermark Townsville

A man has been taken to hospital after emergency services were called to the The Watermark Townsville just after 7pm tonight.

A man has been taken to hospital with cuts to the head after a emergency services responded to a reported disturbance at a popular Townsville night spot.

Emergency services were called to The Watermark on The Strand at 7pm tonight in relation to a disturbance.

Two men were assessed at the scene with one male in his 30s transported to the Townsville University Hospital.

A spokesman for the Queensland Ambulance Service said the man had sustained a cut to the head.

A spokesman for the Queensland Police Service said police officers were currently interviewing witnesses.

“Police are with two people near The Beat in relation to a disturbance,” he said.

No charges have been laid.

Investigations are ongoing.
