Derby Day was held in style at Townsville’s Flinders Lane, with proceeds supporting charity Fuel for Schools.
Kellie Stephenson, from Support Local with Kellie, hosted the fucntion alongside the Flinders Lane team, City Lane, Magnetic Motors, Gallivanter Travel and Donohues.
“It was a collaborative event activating this amazing CBD space,” she said. “Jewellery By Design donated a Diamond Bracelet worth $4995 and we were able to raise a total of $13,000 for local charity Fuel For Schools.”
With almost 250 people in attendance, there was plenty to keep guests entertained including various activations including a Donohues Hat Bar, Empire Alternarcade Pin Ball Machines, Heritage Exchange Distillery Co tastings, 360 Photo Booth and Carts & Co Gelato Bar.
The food was from City Lane vendors Polola, The TapHouse, Sakana, and Shaw & Co, and the music from Brothas Entertainment.
“This event was truly a remarkable way to work collaboratively to provide an experience like no other, and will be a signature event in the Townsville Calendar for years to come.”
