A woman has been seriously injured in a hit and run in South Townsville.
The incident happened near the intersection of Boundary St and Samphire Rd, South Townsville about 1.10pm.
A police spokeswoman said a 23-year-old Kirwan woman was struck by a vehicle.
The woman was seriously injured and taken to hospital.
“The driver of the vehicle remains outstanding,” the police spokeswoman said.
Police are calling for anyone who saw a white Toyota Hiace van to come forward, especially if they have dashcam or CCTV footage.
