A crime scene has been established as police investigate a fire at a tobacco shop in Mount Isa.
Police and firefighters were alerted to a structure fire at the Mount Isa Tobacconist on West Street, Mount Isa City, around 2.50am on Monday.
The Queensland Ambulance Service also responded to the scene but were stood down around 4am after no patients were reported.
Police have taped off the area and are actively investigating the incident.
At this stage, its understood the fire is being treated as suspicious, though no arrests have been made yet.
