The evidence against a boy charged with the deaths of four teenagers in a car crash at Garbutt will soon be heard.
Four people aged between 13 and 17 were killed when the car they were driving hit a traffic light on Bayswater Road on June 7 this year.
A boy, who cannot be named to protect his identity, has been charged with offences including dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death.

Police allege he was the driver of the car, which they claim had been stolen.
Police prosecutor Cassandra Nitz said a partial brief of evidence had been received yesterday and would be forwarded to the boy’s legal representatives this week.
The boy’s defence solicitor, Mikaila Ward, said she was seeking a one-week adjournment in order to consult with her client.
Magistrate Steven Mosch asked Ms Nitz what charges the brief of evidence would cover.
She confirmed it would cover six charges but would concentrate on the dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death and two charges of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
Mr Mosch granted journalists access to the High Risk Children’s Court, citing it was “critical” to have a fair and accurate reporting of the criminal proceedings.
Ms Ward opposed the media’s presence arguing the “ongoing media attention would put my client at risk if he would like to return to Townsville in the future”.
The prosecution did not oppose the media appearance while Youth Justice remained neutral.
The boy was remanded in custody and is held in a Brisbane detention centre after he was moved from Townsville due to fears for his safety.
Mr Mosch adjourned the case to November 10.
