Ryan Catholic College turned up the heat for their red carpet arrivals — and with so many vintage cars in one place, it really wasn’t a surprise when one cracked its coolant and needed a push.

The heat was still in the air when Samantha Tom led in the procession at 5pm, kicking off a solid two hours of arrivals to the joy of waiting family and friends.

There was a notable domination of two-door Mustangs, large RAMs and Chevy pick-up trucks, and golden oldies.

Also present was a flair for showmanship from Matthew Graham and his partner Ashlee who rocked up in not one car, but two: a Ferrari 458 and Lamborghini Huracan.

Genuine street sport cars got a good showing with a Holden Special Vehicle 2009 VE series 1 clubsport Is3 6 speed manual, a Mazda RX7 FD, and more.

Gabrielle Falconiori and his partner Selena arrived in a car simply called “Sheep”, and Jaime Byrne and Marcus made sure at least one Tesla got to join the exclusive club in the idle lane.
