Teenager allegedly attacks bus driver with knife at Blacktown

A bus driver has been slashed in the ear in a random attack in Blacktown. Police arrested an 18-year-old male after he ran off after the alleged attack before turning up at a local hospital.

A bus driver has been slashed in the ear in a random attack in Sydney’s west.

A teenager was on board the bus at the Blacktown Railway Station at 1.30pm on Saturday when he allegedly pulled out a large knife and cut the driver.

The 18-year-old alleged attacker then ran off before turning up at Blacktown Hospital.

Police have taken the man to Blacktown Police Station.

Meanwhile the driver, aged in his 30s, was treated by paramedics at the scene and transported to Westmead Hospital for treatment.
