Ogee - North Hobart

New to the scene, Ogee has hit the ground running. They have a walk-in only policy which means wait times can vary, but we’re assured the experience is worth every second.

Fico - Hobart

Expect about a three week wait for a weekend spot in the restaurant of this must-do in Hobart, however, high table reservations can be easier to come by.

Peppina - Hobart

Located at The Tasman Hotel, you’ll need to book about one week in advance for a weekend spot for two.

Sonny - Hobart

A walk-in only policy and limited seating has made nabbing a seat at Sonny notoriously difficult since its inception.

Van Bone - Marion Bay

Think destination dining in the rolling hills of Marion Bay. Bookings can be made up to three months in advance and are essential.

The Waterloo - Swansea

Located in Swansea The Waterloo serves up a daily menu celebrating local, seasonal produce. Allow around one week to secure a weekend spot for two.

The Lounge by Frogmore Creek - Hobart

The Hobart arm of Frogmore Creek has proven to be as popular as its cellar door and restaurant. A weekend table for two is possible to come by with a few days notice, but bookings are encouraged.

Peacock and Jones - Hobart

The Peacock and Jones dining experience takes you on a journey of Tasmania’s finest harvest. Securing a prime time position for two on a weekend will require around one weeks wait.

The Agrarian Kitchen - New Norfolk

Located in New Norfolk, this venue has seen patrons wait with baited breath for a lunch spot since its inception in 2017. A lunch spot for two at the restaurant will require around a weeks wait, however the kiosk can be enjoyed on Saturdays and Sundays with no reservations required.

Stillwater Restaurant - Launceston

Although dinner bookings will require about two weeks wait, Stillwater in Launceston is also open for breakfast and lunch, meaning their casual fine dining can be experienced at any time of the day.

Faro - Mona

Just like the museum it’s located in, this venue is synonymous with distinctiveness. A weekend dinner spot will require about one weeks notice, but bookings can be made up to 28 days in advance.

Dana - Hobart

Located in the heart of town, this modern South-East Asian restaurant will require about one week notice to secure a prime time table for two. But if you’re flexible and can get there early, a few days notice should do the trick.

Urban Greek - Hobart

Serving modern Greek cuisine in the heart of Hobart, a dinner reservation for two at Urban Greek will require about two weeks wait.

Landscape - Hobart

Landscape Restaurant & Grill creates unforgettable dining experiences in the heart of Hobart’s Hunter Street waterfront precinct. Expect about two weeks wait if you’re looking for a weekend table for two.

Aloft - Hobart

Offering a view of Hobart that is well and truly worth the wait, a table for two in the restaurant will require approximately four weeks notice, however the venue encourages last minute bookings to contact them directly via email or phone.

Ba Wa Izakaya - North Hobart

Serving food until late late Ba Wa Izakaya is known for having lunch time lines out the door for their ramen served from 12 - 3pm.

La Sardina Loca - Hobart

An integral part of “Midtown Hobart” a prime time weekend table for two will require a little over one weeks notice. However if you’re flexible on time a few days notice should do the trick.

Templo - Hobart

This 25 seat neighbourhood restaurant tucked away in the back streets of Hobart will require approximately 10 days notice for a dinner table for two.

D’Angelos - Battery Point

This Battery Point institution will require about three weeks wait for a weekend dinner reservation, however late night spots are available sooner for flexible diners.

Omotenashi - Hobart
With just 12 seats available, this new venue has been booked out almost since it’s inception. Expect around four or more weeks for a seat at this very exclusive table.
