Workers in hospital after Fielders workplace incident, SafeWork investigation launched

Two men have been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after an incident involving two trucks at a steel working factory on Saturday morning.
Just after 8.30am, emergency services responded to reports of a serious workplace accident at Fielders in Novar Gardens.
Ambulance services rushed two male employees to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious injuries – one with reported chest injuries and the second with multiple fractures.
The workers became trapped between two trucks, according to 7News reports.

SafeWork SA Investigators and Inspectors arrived on the scene at 11am to begin their investigation.
A SafeWork SA spokesman confirmed two workers were injured and taken to hospital. One worker was treated for minor injuries and released, while the other remains in hospital.
The spokesperson said inquiries into the incident are continuing.
