Two Wells man charged with several offences after wild rampage in Adelaide’s north
A man has been charged after an almost two-hour pursuit involving the police helicopter, in which a woman was carjacked at knifepoint and property destroyed in a trail of destruction.

A man has been charged after a terrifying crime rampage north of Adelaide that included a knifepoint carjacking.
The drama began on Tuesday night when police went to a home on Nottle Rd, Gawler, to follow up on a business robbery at Munno Para Shopping Centre on Monday.
When they arrived around 7.45pm, a grey Nissan Pathfinder sped from the street, sparking a quick police pursuit before they lost sight of the car on Redbanks Rd.
Half an hour later, police received reports that the same car was driving erratically into fences and gates on Ward Belt Rd, Ward Belt, about 49km north of Adelaide.
The driver continued driving erratically on through Dundas St, Gawler, before allegedly crashing into a parked car and fleeing the scene around 8.25pm.
Police also were called after a Nissan Pathfinder smashed into a fence on Turnbull Rd, Elizabeth Downs, and left the scene around 8.30pm.
A vehicle matching that description then crashed into a parked Volkswagen at Elizabeth Rise Shopping Centre on Hamblynn Rd about 8.45pm.
A woman sitting inside the Volkswagen was not injured.
At 9.15pm, a man threatened a woman at knifepoint before stealing her black Ford Territory at the Munno Para Shopping Centre carpark. She was not physically injured.
Police found the Nissan Pathfinder abandoned in the nearby carpark, and PolAir quickly located the stolen Territory and tracked it to Bandiana Crescent, Elizabeth Downs.
The 33-year-old driver allegedly fled from the car into nearby yards, with patrols swarming the area and arresting him around 9.30pm.
The Two Wells man was charged with several offences including driving without due care, failing to stop at a crash scene and aggravated robbery.
He is expected to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
