Pedestrian seriously injured after being hit by a motorcycle on South Rd at Clovelly Park
Two people have been taken to hospital after a pedestrian was struck by a motorcycle while crossing South Rd on Thursday morning.

Two people have been taken to hospital after a pedestrian was struck by a motorcycle while crossing South Rd road on Thursday morning.
The collision occurred on South Rd, Clovelly Park, just before 7am.
Citybound traffic on the major road was cut down to one lane as emergency services went to the scene just before 7am.
The pedestrian, a 45-year-old man from Parafield Gardens sustained serious injuries – however
his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The motorcyclist, a 53-year-old Old Reynella man, was also injured in the crash and taken to hospital by ambulance.
Southbound traffic was restricted to one lane on South Rd, from English Ave, but that has now reopened to traffic.
A worker in a nearby store said when he arrived he saw an ambulance and fire trucks at the scene.
A tow truck later took the black motorcycle away.
