REAL Estate Agents Group staff member Susan Scardigno discharged from RAH

The woman stabbed alongside alleged murder victim Julie Seed in a shocking attack at an Adelaide office has been discharged, health officials have confirmed.

Man charged with murder after woman dies in a random stabbing attack

The woman who survived a horrific daylight knife attack that killed her colleague has been released from hospital.

Susan Scardigno was working at REAL Estate Agents Group at Plympton on December 20 when Shaun Michaels Dunk allegedly stabbed her and her colleague Julie Seed.

While Ms Seed, a 38-year-old property manager, died at the scene, 50-year-old Ms Scardigno was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a critical condition.

SA Health confirmed Ms Scardigno, from Henley Beach, was discharged on Tuesday.

Mr Dunk, who has been charged with one count each of murder and attempted murder, was released from Urgent Mental Health Care Centre on the morning of the alleged attack.

The 30-year-old had been discharged from hospital on December 18 despite allegedly warning police two weeks before that he feared he could hurt someone.

Mr Dunk faced court briefly earlier this month where an application for a mental health assessment report to determine whether he is mentally fit to instruct counsel, stand trial or be found guilty of crimes was heard.

He will remain in custody until his next appearance in March.
