Parkside stabbing leaves 20-year-old man fighting for his life and 17-year-old with injuries

A young man who fought for his life after being stabbed allegedly with a knife was seen staggering door to door at Parkside early this morning.
The Advertiser understands the 20-year-old man was inside a unit on Blyth St, where four other men in their 20s live, when he was stabbed before attempting to get help.
A Parkside resident came to the man’s rescue calling police and paramedics, before he was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
He is now in a serious but stable condition.
A 17-year-old, inside the same unit, was found by police with injuries, however she did not require medical treatment.
A 26-year-old Elizabeth Grove man was arrested.
He has been charged with aggravated cause serious harm with intent and was refused police bail.
He will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday 14 November.
Investigations into this incident are ongoing, however, police say this was not a random incident and those involved appear to know each other.
The three involved in the incident are not Parkside residents.
