A nude man has shocked onlookers by jogging down a suburban street, covered only in socks and sneakers.

Video shared by 7NEWS shows the man keeping a modest pace as he made his way down the inner western street, seemingly oblivious to his state of undress.

In a separate incident, police were forced to issue a warning in October last year about a nude man hiding in bushes at the Anstey Hill Recreation Park.
