Police are investigating a blaze near a popular library in the north western suburbs.
Just before 5am on Sunday, MFS crews were called to the Civic Library (Woodville) on Woodville Rd after reports of a building “fully ablaze”.
An SA Police spokesman said the fire was not at the library itself, but in an abandoned building nearby.
An MFS spokeswoman said the fire had since been contained, but the cause and condition of the building is yet to be determined.
Police Fire Cause Investigators will attend later on Sunday to determine the cause, but Woodville Rd was closed between Port Rd and Kemp St.
It has since reopened.
Anyone with information that may assist investigations is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
