The owner of property that was site of a molotov cocktail attack on Monday morning says she has no idea what prompted the incident.
Yiannoulla Pavlou and her husband Andrew, both 76, have lived in their Torrensville home for 54 years. They woke to discover police officers at their Jervois St property on Monday morning.
Mrs Pavlou slept through the attack but said she was scared when informed what had happened.
Police said two molotov cocktails were thrown at the property. The Pavlous’ concrete driveway featured two burn marks and some broken glass when The Advertiser visited. A section of a neighbour’s boundary wall also appeared to be burnt.
“When I came out, I saw that (the damage) and I was scared,” Mrs Pavlou said.
Patrols were called to Jervois St just before 6am with reports a molotov cocktail was thrown at the home.
No injuries were reported.
The small blaze on the driveway was extinguished before fire crews arrived on scene.
Crime Scene investigators have attended the property this morning.
