Hackham carjacking suspect allegedly left piece of paper in the car with his address on it

A man was dragged out of his vehicle in a carjacking and a service station held up with a gun in a spate of violent crime on Thursday night.
The alleged carjacker - 25-year-old Woodcroft man Logan Reece Brown - brought himself undone by allegedly leaving a piece of paper in the car with his address on it.
A rideshare driver was sitting in his Toyota Camry near the intersection of Cottage Lane and Gates Road, at Hackham, about 6.30pm when a white van stopped in front of his car.
A man jumped out of the van and allegedly threatened the Camry driver with a hatchet – then dragged the man out of his car and stole it.
The car was found by police in the Old Noarlunga National Park – with the fateful piece of paper inside.
Brown was arrested a couple of hours later and charged with aggravated robbery.
He faced the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Friday and did not apply for bail.
Brown will appear in court again next week.
The Camry driver was uninjured.
Meanwhile, a Pooraka service station was held up in the early hours of Friday morning by a man wielding a handgun.
The man – a pillion passenger on a motorbike – was handed a small amount of cash from the till before he walked out of the shop and escaped on the back of the waiting motorcycle.
The motorbike was last seen heading north on Bridge Road – but police were unable to find the bike or the suspects in the area.
The thief was wearing a dark-coloured hooded top and sunglasses.
His getaway rider was wearing a dark top and a silver helmet.
