A Glenunga teenager has been charged with several offences, after a terrifying incident in Adelaide’s CBD on Monday morning.

The 18-year-old will now face several charges after allegedly threatening a security guard with a box-cutter at about 11.30am on Monday.

No one was injured during the incident and police arrested the Glenunga woman shortly afterwards.

She has been charged with theft, aggravated assault, possess knife in public place, disorderly behaviour and breach of bail.

She is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday, after being denied police bail.
