Former opposition leader David Speirs will appear in court for the first time on Friday, November 15.
His first appearance – which falls on the day before a possible by-election date – will be held at Christies Beach Magistrates Court.
The date was revealed in a statement updated by SA Police on Monday.
Over the weekend, Mr Speirs revealed his home had been raided by police and he had been arrested.
Police said he was arrested at Berri on September 26 and has been charged with two counts of supplying a controlled substance between August 2 and 3 and on August 9.
It came after The Advertiser in September published a video of Mr Speirs appearing to snort a white powder off the kitchen bench of his Kingston Park home.
Mr Speirs has announced he will quit parliament but vowed he will fight to clear his name of all allegations.
