Former One Nation state MP Sarah Game has launched a new political party called Fair Go For Australians, bringing on board controversial Adelaide City councillor Henry Davis as her lead upper house candidate for the March state election.

Ms Game, who sensationally fell out with One Nation leader Pauline Hanson earlier this year when she quit to become an independent legislative councillor, said the party’s name reflected key Australian values.

“It’s a uniquely Australian phrase and for us, getting a fair go means a person’s work, contribution and loyalty to Australia should be rewarded,” she said.

“Success shouldn’t be about identity politics and special rules for some but not others. Success shouldn’t be dependent on being part of a minority group, or your ethnicity, your gender, who you know, or where you live.

“Getting a fair go means having the same education outcomes, regardless of your postcode.

“It means closing the gap between rural and metropolitan health services.”

Ms Game, 42, a single mum of three and former veterinarian, in May quit One Nation, blaming insurmountable problems with “the way the One Nation brand is perceived” including a “racism stigma”.

She declared at the time she wanted to “advocate for all South Australians, regardless of their heritage or religious beliefs”.

Senator Hanson hit back, claiming the real reason was that Ms Game feared her mother Jennifer Game would “stop looking after her children if she wasn’t preselected” in SA.

That came after Jennifer Game was refused One Nation’s top upper house ticket spot for the 2026 state election.

“I told her (Sarah Game) One Nation is a political party, not a childcare centre,” Senator Hanson said.

Ms Game is not up for re-election herself until 2030 but said she wanted “people who support what I’ve been doing to have someone to vote for in March 2026”.

“Winnable” lower house seats would be targeted as well as legislative council spots.

“Realistically, if you vote Liberal at the coming election you’re just voting for somebody to have a well-paid job in opposition,” she said.

“But if you choose Fair Go, you’ll get principled candidates, plus the party might end up with the balance of power.”

Policies would include incentives for landlords to install solar panels and batteries, she said.

“A fair go for renters means not having to pay some of the highest electricity prices in the state because they can’t choose to have solar panels and a battery.”

Mr Davis, a lawyer and former Royal Australian Airforce member, quit the Liberal Party last week after nearly 20 years of membership, citing concerns over a lack of direction, purpose and fight.

“Sarah and I share the same belief in freedom, personal responsibility, and a fair go for every Australian,” he said.

“Too many decisions are made for party insiders, lobbyists, and special interests groups – while ordinary mainstream Australians are ignored. It’s a squeaky-wheel system.”
