Citizens arrest of naked man at Marion Westfield Shopping Centre
A naked man has been filmed causing a scene in one of the state’s largest shopping precincts, with a woman using a shopping trolley to detain the man in a bold citizen’s arrest.

Shoppers at one of Adelaide’s largest retail precincts were given a rude – and alarming – shock when a naked man caused bizarre scenes on Monday.
A man, completely void of any clothing, was seen smashing plates in the Marion Shopping Centre near the cinema steps.
In footage obtained by 9News Adelaide, the man can be seen throwing items at the ground, smashing them across the floor.
Another shopper using his shopping as a shield attempts to approach the naked man before other shoppers perform a citizens arrest.
Shoppers have put themselves in harmâs way to subdue a naked man at Marion Shopping Centre this morning, sparking questions about the security response.

The footage shows two men grab the naked man’s arms and detain him against a glass shopfront before another woman uses a shopping trolley to stop the unclad man.
A fourth man rushes in to help detain the naked man before another joins the fray, taking out the man’s legs and he is held on the ground.
It is unclear what time the incident occurred.
Westfield Marion management referred inquiries to SA Police.
The incident comes five months after the same centre went into lockdown when a fight broke out between armed teenage boys in the food court.
