Adelaide’s Leah Cummings won’t be hanging around if she doesn’t feel a spark on the new, revamped season of The Bachelor Australia.
After a 12-month hiatus, the show will for the first time feature three Bachelors – Felix Von Hofe, Thomas Malucelli and Jed McIntosh — vying for love.
Make-up artist Cummings, 32, said she’s certain she can find love on Ten’s reality show and if not – she won’t hesitate to walk.
“If I don’t form a connection with this Bachelor I will not stay a second longer,” she said.
“I’m not going on this show to waste my time or the Bachelor’s time. We both deserve love.”
Cummings, who went to Urrbrae High School, said she was ready to take a risk in her quest to find her soulmate.
“It’s been said that love finds you when you are ready, I know I am ready. I’m ready for someone to have a place in my heart that no one else has ever had before,” she said. “It’s time to take my chance, be honest, jump, go for it, be all in and why the hell not. I truly believe this small step in the Bachelor’s direction is going to be the biggest step of my life.”
A close friend of Cummings described her as a “good girl” who’s “picky” about the guys she dates.
“I know she hasn’t had much luck with men, she’s a bit picky I guess, and also clingy,” she said.
But it sounds like Cummings has already clicked with at least one of the eligible Bachelors on this year’s series.
“Before I could even see Thomas properly, I just saw his silhouette as he was walking down the pathway to meet me, I was being pulled to him,” she said.
“He said hello and I felt like the witch from The Wizard Of Oz and felt like I was melting.”
