Western Queensland man trapped in silo at Eurombah north of Roma
A man has been rescued after falling through the roof of a silo in regional Queensland and being stuck up to his neck in urea.

A man has been rescued in a painstaking four-hour manual operation after being trapped up to his neck in a silo of urea.
The man fell through the roof of the silo on a property on Roma-Taroom Rd at Eurombah on the Western Downs early on Sunday afternoon.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said a number of crews were called to the incident, north of Roma and south of Taroom, including three trucks with pumps, and a special crew for confined spaces.
The SES has also been called in to help, he said.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics were on site helping firefighters.
The man was rescued at 5.30pm after a four-hour manual operation.
QFD’s Confined Spaces and Vertical Rescue Teams hoisted the man and manually had to empty all the urea from the silo.
He was then transferred by helicopter from Roma at 7pm in a stable condition.
Urea is a highly concentrated nitrogen fertiliser often used by farmers.
