Motorists involved in a truck and car crash on Gore Highway have walked away with only minor injuries.

Emergency services were called to the collision near the Linthorpe Road intersection about 9am Thursday.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said all occupants had removed themselves from their vehicles prior to the paramedics’ arrival.

Firefighters worked to make the scene safe and clear the wreckage.

The incident comes after two cars collided near the Kitchener Street and Geddes Street intersection in South Toowoomba about 5pm on Wednesday.

While the collision left firefighters with a messy cleaning, the two drivers, a man and a woman, had only suffered minor injuries and did not require hospitalisation.
