Truck driver’s serious injuries after Luscombe Bridge accident on Beaudesert Beenleigh Road
A truck driver is recovering from a serious leg injury after a scary truck crash on a bridge south of Brisbane.

A truck was left hanging off the edge of Luscombe Bridge after driving through the guardrails on Saturday morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Beaudesert Beenleigh Road just after 11:30am.
The driver of the truck sustained a significant leg injury but was the only person harmed by the crash.
The 52-year-old Leichhardt man was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane in a stable condition.
The accident caused Luscombe Bridge to be closed in both directions, with local diversions in place near Vievers Road.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident.
