Police are seeking public assistance to identify a man following a robbery and wounding in Biggera Waters, Gold Coast on Monday June 7.
The man allegedly jumped the fence of a Thompson Street property before climbing into a wheelie bin where he remained for over an hour.
Around 8am, a male resident of the address found the man hiding in the bin and was subsequently threatened by the offender who demanded his phone and keys.
The men had a physical altercation before the offender fled on foot with the victims’
possessions.
The victim suffered a wound to his left hand.
Police allege the man, who is unknown to residents, jumped the fence of the property around 6.30 before getting in the bin.
Investigators have released these images and vision of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
