A landmark investigation into the dark underbelly of the Queensland branch of the CFMEU uncovered the militant union deliberately used violence, coercion and threatened abuse to both women and children.

The 45-page report, obtained exclusively by The Courier-Mail, revealed the disturbing lengths the CFMEU went during its pursuit of power in Queensland.

“Come out here and I’ll f--k you” - CFMEU members to young women they could see through glass walls during a protest outside the Masters Builders Queensland building in February 8, 2022.

“How does it feel to know that your Mum is a f--kin’ grub who sells out workers?” – a CFMEU member to the child of a female official from the Australian Workers’ Union during a Labour Day march.

“You should be dragged out of here” - Michael Ravbar, to a female public servant who was at the CFMEU office in 2020 as part of a government delegation.

“There’s a bullet with your name on it – we’re gonna get you” - a CFMEU official to an industrial relations representative at a Cross River Rial project in 2021.

“We won’t stop coming for you – no-one can protect you”, another said “We know where you live” and “We know you have two young sons” - two CFMEU officials to an AWU organiser in 2023.

“You big fat c--t – You big fat c--t - You big fat c--t” - CFMEU men to an AWU organiser at a Cross River Rail worksite.
