Quarantine Scrapped For COVID Close Contacts And Unvaccinated Travellers 23/04/2022

Close contacts and unvaccinated international travellers will no longer be required to quarantine in Queensland as the state eases one of the last Covid-19 restrictions. 

The Palaszczuk government’s Wellcamp facility has been effectively rendered useless with quarantine scrapped for unvaccinated travellers and close contacts. 

Distressing new data from Queensland Health has revealed children under four with mental health problems have turned up at the state’s emergency departments more than 2800 times in three years.

Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate has confirmed he will run for a record fourth term in 2024, saying he still has the “fire in the belly” for the city’s top civic job.
