Police have released vision as they continue to investigate the alleged murder of a young woman at Caboolture last weekend.
Chloe Jade “CJ” Mason, 23, was allegedly chased by two men and shot dead on Railway Parade shortly after midnight on December 22.
Police provided CPR and first aid but she was declared dead at the scene.
The two men remain on the run.
Detectives from Caboolture Criminal Investigation Branch have since released CCTV from the street as they continue to appeal for further information.
Several gunshots can be heard followed by police sirens. A male voice can be heard to say what sounds like “come back here”.
Detectives believe it was not a random attack and the parties involved were known to each other.
Anyone travelling along Railway Parade between 11.40pm on Saturday, December 21 to 12.15am on Sunday, December 22 is urged to come forward.
The Courier-Mail previously revealed that Ms Mason’s former partner Kane Anderson was fatally stabbed in a brawl on Australia Day, 2020.
Investigations remain ongoing.
