Nicholas James Green charged with distributing child abuse material

Police allege the owner of a popular Qld electronics store used a carriage service such as a computer or a phone to distribute child abuse material.

The co-owner of a Gympie CBD electronics store has been charged with using a carriage service to transmit, make available, publish, distribute, advertise or promote child abuse material.

Nicholas James Green, 42, appeared in Gympie Magistrates Court on June 17, 2025, and was granted a change to his bail conditions.

It comes after his May 19 court mention where he did not enter a plea to the charge.

The case has now been adjourned to July 14, 2025.

According to Gympie court documents Mr Green is charged with having committed this offence on April 1, 2025.
