Millmerran truck crash: One critical after incident on Gore Highway

A woman is in hospital after being trapped inside her vehicle following a collision between a car and an oversized truck west of Toowoomba overnight.

A woman in her 40s is in hospital after being trapped in her vehicle following a serious multi-vehicle crash west of Toowoomba on Thursday morning.

Emergency crews attended the scene on Gore Highway in Millmerran just after 12am following reports an oversized truck had collided with a car, and found the woman trapped.

She was able to be freed but suffered significant leg injuries and neck, head, and shoulder pain, and was treated at the scene before being taken to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.

Motorists were diverted off the highway, however, by 6:29am the scene had been cleared and traffic was moving freely.
