A teenager has been charged after a string of break-ins south of Brisbane, with CCTV footage showing a group hitting multiple Logan businesses.

Police allege an 18-year-old man was involved in a number of incidents across Logan and Gold Coast including two break-ins at Caltex Underwood, which was hit by a separate group on Tuesday morning.

Police allege a group of men in a grey Hyundai hatchback that was stolen from a property in Beenleigh on September 30 has been seen with green P-plates involved in multiple break-ins.

At around 5.50am the group smashed the front glass and threatened an employee to open the safe at a Caltex Underwood service station on Tuesday.

CCTV footage released by nine news showed another group at the Caltex Underwood service station earlier at around 1am, appearing to use a power tool to cut the wire at the counter and stealing a bag of store items.

Caltex Service station co-owner Ankush Dhir told Nine News he had lost $30,000 in cash and $60,000 in tobacco products.

“It’s totally horrible and insane,” he said.

“In a society where we’re living, I think it’s not acceptable.”

The men took away cash and other items, before leaving in a red Jeep Renegade Wagon.

A 18-year-old man who was in the Hyundai hatchback was charged with five counts of armed robbery, five counts of entering premises to commit an indictable offence, two counts of attempt to enter premises to commit an indictable offence and two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle

The group has been caught on CCTV hitting businesses across Logan, it will be alleged a Hyundai 130 was used at an attempted break in at a Mount Warren Park Tobacco shop and then a break in at Wara Sushi in Holmview at 3.46am.

In CCTV footage obtained by the Courier Mail, the group can be seen using crowbars to smash their way into the Wara Sushi restaurant.

A masked man can be seen jumping over the counter, and searching at the cash register and rummaging through cabinets.

Juhun Ham, Wara Sushi Operations Manager said the store has been hit multiple times this year, with a cash safe stolen two weeks ago from the premises.

“Every time it’s different people, I remember three or four times this year. The last one two weeks ago, they took money they took around $3,000 to $4,000, no longer keep cash premises,” Mr Ham said.

“I think they are trying to gain access to the liquor store.”

The group then appeared again at a Riverhills 7/11 at around 4.15am.

A 7/11 spokesperson has told the Courier Mail a Riverhills worker was held up by a number of individuals and was used to gain access to items.

“There were a number of individuals who entered the store, and this staff member was trying to keep himself safe and moved behind the fridge areas,” a 7/11 spokesperson said.

“And was taken, moved out behind the fridge by a number of individuals. He is mentally and physically okay.”

“Fortunately he is in good shape.”

The same group was then caught on CCTV outside a TSG Tobacco shop in Darra at around 4.50am.

The TSG Tobacco shop owner told the Courier Mail the licence plate of the Hyundai 130 used outside his shop has been reported stolen and was seen earlier at another location in Warren Park.

“This is the first time in three years since we had the business targeted,” the TSG business owner said.

Anyone with information was urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Policelink on 131 444.
